Extracto: Nowadays, the learning of English Language is important, because the changes related with to society, economics, politics, and education fields are occurring day by day. The curriculum has to be elaborated in a methodological and didactical way, to offer the best options to the students, and try to comprehend the complexity and the importance of the learning of the English Language. For these reasons, the students have to be encouraged in order to improve their abilities, and their knowledge; in this way, they will be able to face the challenges according to their major, and society´s needs. This thesis is presented in three chapters. Chapter I, the “Conceptual Framework,” provides the Justification that is why, this research has been elaborated. This chapter is divided into five sections. The Background describes the learning of English into the superior education, and the legal requirements established by the Ministry of Education. In addition, it has been established the essential components to design the curriculum such as; Sources of the Curriculum and the Essential Components for Teaching English. The Justification, establishes the importance and benefits of learning English, for Salvadoran students, and the elemental parts for improving the English curriculum. The Statement of the Problem it establishes the questions that have been guiding this research. These are close related with the education changes, and the challenges to face according to globalization.
